Edna Marion Millie 1925 – 2023
Surrounded by love, Edna Marion Millie passed away February 3rd in her 98th year in Toronto. Born in Bath, New Brunswick in July 1925 Edna married Irvine Millie of Glassville in 1949. Edna was a loving wife to the late Irvine for 68 years. She was a Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and friend. Family was her greatest joy, but she enjoyed playing bridge, singing, and hosting friends.
Edna was predeceased by her beloved brother “Bud” Hilston Martin in 1987. She is survived by her daughters Marilyn, Joanne, and Lori, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am, Saturday October 7, 2023, at Saint James United Church, 120 Chapel Street, Woodstock, New Brunswick, followed by interment in Glassville Community Cemetery (the former United Church Cemetery).
