Bristol Free Baptist Church Cemetery, Florenceville-Bristol, Carleton County, New Brunswick, Canada
Notes: 4710 Juniper Rd (HWY 107), Florenceville-Bristol, New Brunswick.
The cemetery is located to rear of the Old Free Baptist Church. The church is very close to the road/sidewalk and there is no parking area. It is located approximately 0.4 KM from where you turn off Main St onto the Juniper Rd on the left. This was always the Village of Bristol until it merged with the Village of Florenceville on Canada Day (July 1st) 2008 to form the Town of Florenceville-Bristol in Kent Parish.
Built by Ziba Lockhart c. 1922, the Church was previously known as the Free Baptist Meeting House. Elder Lockhart preached and attended meetings here for over 50 years and is buried in the cemetery behind the church. The wooden structure was built in the modest classical style typical of a rural religious meeting house. The church was often referred to as "Zibe's Church".
