McKenzie Corner is located 3.92 km NNW of Debec, on the road to Richmond Corner: Richmond Parish, Carleton County: named for William McKenzie, who settled here in 1822: PO McKenzies Corner 1858-1914: in 1866 McKenzie Corner was a farming settlement with about 140 resident families: in 1871 it was a station on the New Brunswick and Canada Railway: the combined population of McKenzie Corner and nearby Mountain Settlement in 1871 was 350: in 1898 McKenzie Corner had 1 post office, 1 cheese factory, 2 churches and a population of 150.
