East Florenceville was located on East side of the St. John River across from Florenceville: Peel Parish, Carleton County: PO Florenceville East 1865-1907: in 1871 it had a population of 100: in 1898 Florenceville East was a station on the Canadian Pacific Railway and a village with 1 post office, 3 stores, 1 hotel, 2 churches and a population of 200: renamed East Florenceville: PO 1907-1962: became part of the town of Florenceville, now the Town of Florenceville-Bristol.
