Tracey Mills is located 2.56 km W of Centreville: Wicklow Parish, Carleton County: PO 1858-1920 with Isaac Tracey as the first postmaster: in 1866 Tracey Mills was a farming community with approximately 40 resident families, including the families of David Tracey, Edward Tracey, James F. Tracey, Isaac Tracey, Jonathan Tracey and Thomas Tracey: in 1871 it was a station on the European and North American Railway and had a population of 250: in 1898 Tracey Mills had 1 post office, 1 sawmill, 1 grist mill, 1 church and a population of about 250.
