J. Louise Smith
1944-2022
The death of J. Louise Smith of Bristol occurred on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Carleton Manor, Woodstock with her loving family by her side. Louise was born February 29, 1944 in Plaster Rock and was the daughter of the late John and Jessie (Lewis) Trott. She was also predeceased by 1 brother, Thomas; 1 niece, Tara Smith and 1 nephew, Michael Shaw.
Louise is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Terry; 3 daughters, Karen Chapleau (Rodrique); Ruth Smith (Dr. Joseph Saveika) and Kristi Schriver (Darren); 6 grandchildren, Justin (Karine), Michael (Nicole), Dev, Lauren, Meaghan and Gillian; 2 great grandchildren, Ashlynn and Noah; 1 sister, Peggy Solomon; 2 brothers, Gerry Trott and John Paul Trott (April) as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 3:30 pm from the Church of the Good Shepherd, Main St. Florenceville - Bristol. The Rev. Robert LeBlanc will officiate. The interment will be in the Bristol Community Cemetery at a later date. A reception and time of visitation will follow the funeral service in the church hall. Donations made to Carleton Manor, The Church of the Good Shepherd or to a charity of the donor choice would be appreciated. L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors are entrusted with the arrangements.
