    • Obituary:

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donna June (Morehouse) Brown at Shannex Frederick Hall, in the early hours of April 27, 2022. Donna was the wife of the late Larry Rolfe and the daughter of the late June and Byron Morehouse. She was born on July 31, 1932.

Mum is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Gerry), granddaughter Misty (Jason), and her beloved great grandchildren, Bailey and Brandon. She is also survived by her sisters, Devota Shannon and Cesema Wiggins and brother Jason Morehouse. She will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Larry Rolfe, and her son, Roger Brown.

Mum was the pillar of strength for our family. Holidays and visits from friends were her favourite times, when we all gathered at her place for a big meal. She could take a pound of hamburger and create a meal for 50! She always loved going to watch Misty, when she was younger, riding and getting angry at her coach because "he was too hard on her". She loved to watch Brandon play football and Bailey show jumping. She was so proud of Misty, Bailey and Brandon. They were the light of her life.

The family would like to thank the staff at Frederick Hall, St Anne’s Court wing, for their love and care of Mum over the past 6 years, especially these last 3 days. Your care for her was very much appreciated.

A Celebration of Donna’s life will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oromocto SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
