      The death of one of Stanley's most highly esteemed and aged residents occurred 11th inst. at English Settlement in the person of Sarah Burgess GREY wife of late Andrew GREY, who came from Gloucester, England with Dr. Edwin JACOB, Vice-President of King's College, Fredericton, May 24th, 1841. The deceased had reached the advanced age of 86 years and in possession of all her faculties. She leaves two daughters, one the wife of Josiah FOREMAN and the other the wife of John HARRISON. Rev. J.S. Mullan conducted the services at house and grave and Thomas Clarkson had charge of the funeral arangements.
