  Obituary: It is with great sadness that the family of Gailen Phillip Drost of Bath, New Brunswick announces that he has passed away peacefully on Friday, November 10, 2023 at his residence in Bath, with his family by his side. Gailen was born June 16, 1936, he was the son of the late John and Mary Drost. He was also predeceased by his brother David and brother-in-law Ivan Suess. Gailen is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Marg; 3 children, Peter Drost, Susan Drost, and Michael (Somer) Drost; 7 grandchildren, Keono, Brycen, Isaiah, Ashley, Nicholas, Cougar, and Eric; 1 sister Wilda Suess as well as 2 nephews, Kerry Suess and Kevin Suess as well extended family. Public visitation will take place on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol from 7- 9pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 13 at 1 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Joseph Hopkins will officiate. The interment will be in the Wicklow Community Cemetery.
