    The death of Rita Theresa Keenan of Johnville occurred on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Born December 2, 1931 in Johnville she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mary (Sullivan) Rideout and wife of the late Jack Keenan.

    Rita is survived by her 5 children, Brian Keenan (Marie), Daryall Keenan, Deborah Grant (Larry), Sandra Black (Andrew) and Ivan Keenan; 11 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Josephine Bulmer and Joyce Pickard (James) and many nieces and nephews.

    She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Jack; son, Leonard; daughter in law, Catherine; 3 sisters, Lillian, Bridgette and Ann.

    Visitation will be held from St. John the Evangelist Church, Johnville on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the church on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery.     Suddenly, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Thursday, May 27, 2010, of Exeter in his 56th year. Soulmate of Kathy Kirk. Dear son of Rita Keenan of Bath, NB. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Don and Joyce Kirk of Zurich, Brian and Marie, Sandra and Andrew, Daryl and Debbie and Larry all of Bath, NB. Also remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Jack Keenan (2000). Leonard was a dedicated truck driver of NC Jones, Exeter. Saturday night firepits will never be the same without Leonard.

    Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Monday, May 31st at 11 AM with Bob Heywood officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.

    Brian is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Marie; 5 children, Angela Cogswell (Matthew), Pamela Keenan (Bob), Troy Keenan (Twila), Scott Lang (Karen) and BJ Keenan (Bonnie); 8 grandchildren, Jeannie (Alex), Damian, Victoria, Braden, Connor, Dawson, Elijah and Mason; 3 great grandchildren, Adrian, Annabelle and Aiden; 3 siblings, Daryall Keenan, Deborah Grant (Larry) and Sandra Black (Andrew) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

    Ivan is survived by his 4 siblings; Debbie Grant (Larry), Sandra Black (Andrew), Brian Keenan ( Marie) and Daryall Keenan as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

    Visitation will be held from St. John the Evangelist Church, Johnville on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.     It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daryall “Jake” Thomas Keenan who passed away at the River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

    Jake was born in Bath and lived his life in Johnville, NB. He was the son of Jack and Rita (Rideout) Keenan.

    Jake is survived by his 4 children; Nicholas(Tiffany and her son Steven) of Johnville, NB, Samantha (Charlie) Walton of Slave Lake, AB, Jake Jr. of Slave Lake, AB and Bradley(Aderianna) of Holmesville, NB. Jake is also survived by his 2 grandsons, Benjamin & Karsyn Walton; his 2 sisters, Debbie Grant (Larry) and Sandra Black (Andrew); Sister in Law, Marie Keenan as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

    Jake was predeceased by his wife Catherine (Dugan) Keenan in 1999, his parents and his 3 brothers, Leonard, Ivan & Brian Keenan.

    Jake was a kind and gentle man and approached his life in that manner. He expressed his love for his family in the most unconditional way and passed that legacy on to his 4 children. Anyone who spent time with Jake knows that his heart was full of that love and kindness and it is safe to say, he will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

    Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 5-8 pm. Respecting COVID - 19 regulation face masks must be worn. A private funeral service will be held from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Fr. Anthony Ekpe will officiate. For those who wish the funeral service will be live streamed on the L.R.     The death of Sandra Catherine Black, of Gordonsville, NB, occurred on December 9, 2023 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB. Born on November 14, 1964 in Bath she was the daughter of the late Jack and Rita (Rideout) Keenan. She was also predeceased by her 4 brothers, Leonard, Brian, Daryall (Catherine) and Ivan Keenan.

    Sandra is survived by her husband, Andrew Black; her three children, Ben Keenan (Teague), Katie Black (Josh) and A.J. Black (Mary); chosen daughter, Amanda Dugan (Brendan); her grandchildren, Jack, Patrick, Aubrey, Layla, and Bryce as well as a new grandbaby due in May; one sister, Debbie Grant as well as many nieces and nephews.
