David Herbert Antworth - of Rosedale, NB passed away at Carleton Manor, Woodstock on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the age of 91. David was born in Summerfield,NB on November 17, 1927, son of Vernon L. and Hazel L. (Brown) Antworth.

He is survived by one daughter, Dianne Antworth of Rosedale, NB, and four sons, Brian (Melanie) Antworth, Dale (Doreen) Antworth, Kevin (Wanda) Antworth of Rosedale, NB, and Brent (Lisa) Antworth of Debec, NB. He is survived by one brother, Stillman Antworth of Upper Woodstock, NB, grandchildren, Andrea, Amanda (Scott), Michael (Amy), Sarah, (Kirk), Conrad (Melissa), Robin, (Nikki), Amy (Scott), David (Melissa), Josh (Taylor), Jerika (Scott), great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his first wife, Geraldine E (Foster) Antworth and second wife Bertie A. (Green), son Gary, brother Gerald and sister Velma.

Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on January 29, 2019 Tuesday at 2 pm in the Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Steve Patterson will be officiating, with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gary H. Antworth, 67, formerly of Woodstock NB. Gary passed away peacefully in Fort McMurray at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre on Friday, May 19, 2017. Gary was born September 26, 1949, the son of David Antworth and the late Geraldine (Foster) Antworth.

He leaves behind two daughters and a chosen daughter, Andrea Antworth, Fort McMurray, AB, Amanda Kennedy (Scott), Fort Murray AB, and Stephanie Bruder (Eric) Pincher Creek AB. Gary was a loving and proud Papa/Grampie to eight grandchildren, Kasey, Aleah, Helena, Alisha, Savannah, Tristan, Keagan and Kayden; four brothers, Brian (Melanie), Rosedale, NB, Dale (Doreen), Rosedale, NB, Kevin (Wanda), Rosedale, NB, Brent (Lisa), Debec NB; sister, Dianne, Rosedale, NB; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gary was predeceased by his mother, Geraldine (Foster) Antworth.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 5 PM to 8 PM. Funeral service for Gary will be Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 1 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Gary’s niece Amy Montgomery as she continues to fight her battle with cancer.
