    Frederick “Fred” Gilbert Foster, of Bristol, NB, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. Fred was born June 7, 1942 in Main Stream, NB and was the son of the late Jesse and Helen (Adam) Foster.

    Fred is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Carmel; 3 children, Vone Gregg, Shawna Foster and Stephen Foster (Sharon Swim); 11 grandchildren, Alex Richard, Colbie Foster, Amber O’Neil, Kearstyn Foster, Courtney Gangnon, Noah Perkins, Autumn Foster, Dustin Foster, Leo Hall, Calista Gregg and Kayla Kaye-Hall; 10 great grandchildren, Austin Mullin, Caleb Mullin, Myra Kinney, Lily O’Neil, Malachi Foster, Micah Foster, Atticus Foster, Acacia Perkins, Seth Foster and Tobias Broad as well as many brothers and sisters and their families.

    A public visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 7-9 pm. A private funeral service will be held in the L.R. Giberson Chapel. Rev. Rick Vincent and Rev. Garth Hatheway will officiate. The interment will be in the Bristol Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Bannon Children's Camp would be appreciated.

Born October 31, 1938 in Esdraelon, NB he was the son of the late Jesse and Helen (Adams) Foster. He was also predeceased by his 5 siblings, Hebert, Leona, Fred, Lawrence and Marie.

    Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Linda; 3 children, Rosanna Caldwell (Henri), Leotta McKellar and John Foster (Cindy); 4 grandchildren, Melanie McKellar, Robert McKellar, Caleb Foster (Nicole) and Zachary Foster (Bernice); 4 great grandchildren, Arianna, Meadow, Ryker and Oliver; 7 siblings, Vernon, Calvin, Edison, Mabel, Linda, Lois and Elizabeth as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

    Visitation will be held from Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle, 175 Oakland Rd. on Monday, January 1, 2024 from 2-4 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 2pm from the church. Rev. Howard Antworth will officiate. The interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.     FOSTER, Lawrence Eugene - of Esdraelon, NB passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 01, 2013, at the age of 70, with his family at his side. He was born in Glassville on July 7, 1943. Lawrence is survived by two sons, Adam Foster(Shawna) and grandson Jarret of Moncton, NB and Matthew Foster (Kristine) and granddaughter, Alyssa of Moncton, NB. He was known as gammer by his grandchildren. Lawrence is also survived by five brothers; Charles (Linda) Foster of Lansdowne, Calvin Foster of East Coldstream, Edison (Marlyn) Foster of Lansdowne, Vernon (Edith) Foster of Lansdowne, Fred ( Carmel) Foster of Bristol, NB. Six sisters: Leona and Mable Foster of East Coldstream, Lois Foster (Larry) Tompkins of Rockland, NB, Elizabeth (David) Johnston of Lansdowne, Linda (Dwayne) Johnston of Lansdowne, Leota (James) Broad of East Coldstream, and by 23 nieces and nephews. Lawrence was pre-deceased by his infant daughter Angel, his parents, Jesse and Helen (Adams) Foster and a brother Hebert Foster. The remains rested at the Scott Funeral Home & Woodstock Crematorium, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, where the cremation took place. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the Bethel International Church, Fielding, NB, Pastor Landi Piper will be officiating,assisted by brother John McMullin, with interment in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her siblings, Leota Broad, Hebert Foster, Lawrence Foster; brothers-in-law, David Johnston, Jack MacKenzie; and sister-in-law, Maxine Foster.

    Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland on Wednesday, July 20th from 6 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland, with Rev John McMullin and Pastor Landi Piper officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If so desired, donations can be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group.
