Eva Lois DeMerchant of Piercemont passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Ruth Anna's Ladies Home in Hartland. She was born August 30, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Archibald and Addie Williams. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Graydon DeMerchant; daughter, Susan Ornong; five sisters, Doris, Marjorie, Phyllis, Mavis, and Vivian; four brothers, Sylvester, Ansel, Basil and Floyd.

Eva is survived by her children, Judy (Stan) Graham of Somerville, NB, Larry (Deborah) DeMerchant of Burlington, ON, Sandra (John) Timmermans of Chatham, ON, Marty (Marianella) DeMerchant of Edmonton, AB, Kendyl DeMerchant of Edmonton, AB, (Elizabeth), Darryn DeMerchant (Bobbi) of Holmesville, NB; son-in-law, Jourdan Ornong of Colorado; 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Christina Stairs, Joyce Kinney, Ted Williams; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16th at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors. 207, Burnham Road, Florenceville-Bristol from 12 - 2:30 p.m. Due to Covid 19 spacing restrictions there will be a private funeral service following the visitation. A public committal service will be held at approximately 4:15 to 4:30 p.m. at the Wharton Cemetery in Upper Kent. The family wants to take this opportunity to publicly thank Nancy McDougall for all of the in home care that she provided for Eva prior to having to leave her home. Also, a big thank you to Ruth Sawler and the staff at Ruth Anna's Home for Ladies in Hartland for the great care that Eva received during her years there.

The death of Douglas "Doug" (Herbie) Williams of Moose Mountain occurred on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at his home. Born May 2, 1955 in Bath he was the son of Lila (Hathaway) Williams and the late Floyd Williams.

Doug (Herbie) is survived by his mother, Lila; 1 daughter, Jenna Williams; step children, Levi and Sara Davenport; their mother, Bonnie Davenport; 4 brothers, Deryck Williams (Donna), Brian Williams ( Sharyl), Jack Williams (Mariam), Andy Williams (Michelle); 5 sisters, Sharon Fitzherbert (Gary), Marlene Lamont (Leland), Patsy Williams , Jeanie Giberson (Wayne) and June Oakes (Thomas) as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 2-4 pm. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held in the Wharton Cemetery.
