    Surrounded by his family, Earl Anson Crain of Piercemont passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the age of 58. Born on November 9, 1951, he was the son of the late William "Bill" and Carrie (DeMerchant) Crain and husband of the late Carol Addie (DeMerchant) Crain. Earl, a devoted Christian man, was involved in many aspects of the Holmesville Freewill Baptist Church. He has served as deacon, trustee, and usher throughout the years. He was also involved in many areas of his community. He was a long-time loyal member of the New Brunswick Progressive Conservative Party. He has served as a board member of the District Schoolboard and, more recently, as a board member of the Riverview Manor. He will be fondly remembered as a tireless servant and worker, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Earl is survived by his seven children, Kim Brooks (John Lee), Gary (Tina), Jimmy, Adam, Michelle Williams (Andy), Mitchell (Amy) and Melissa Ogden (Tony); ten grandchildren, Ashley, Nick, Chelsey, Mason, Travis, Trevor, Wyatt, Miah, Addie and Carson; seven brothers, Gaylon, Wavel (Dianne), Hilton (Vilo), Charles, Hugh John (Terri), David (Sharon) and Clifford (Eileen); five sisters, Shirley Clowater, Alta Wright (Russ), Connie Flemming (Bob), Lorraine Hoyt (Bruce) and Andrea Lint (Roy) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, Carol, three brothers, Duncan, Larry and Donnie. Visitation will be held from the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Murray officiating. Interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery.     It is with sadness that the family of David Burlin Crain announce his death which occurred at Hotel Dieu Hospital, in Quebec City. David was born January 8, 1959 in Bath and was the son of the late William and Carrie (DeMerchant) Crain. He was also predeceased by his 2 sisters, Shirley and Alta; 6 Brothers, Duncan, Gaylon, Donnie, Earl, Larry and Hilton.
    David was well known for his sense of humor, and passion to tease anyone who came along. He spent many hours working in the shop, but when someone stopped in, the work ended and out came the cookies and tea. When David wasn't puttering or mingling in the shop, he could be found at the barn tending his horses and cattle.
    Family meant everything to David and he would light up when someone came to visit - especially his children and grand children. He will be dearly missed.
    David is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; his 2 sons, Jorden (Mekayla) and Dee (Caitlyn); 2 grandchildren, Braxton and Kacey; 7 siblings, Charles Crain, Connie Flemming (Bob), Clifford (Eileen), Lauraine Hoyt, Wavel Crain (Dianne), Hugh John Crain (Terri) and Andrea Lint (Roy) as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
    Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 1:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. The interment will be held at a later date. Wavel was born on March 13, 1950 in Bath, NB and was the son of the late William and Carrie (DeMerchant) Crain. He was also predeceased by 2 sisters, Shirley and Alta; 7 brothers, Duncan, Gaylon, Donnie, Earl, Larry, Hilton and David; 4 sisters in law, Mary, Ardith, Alice and Carol; 2 brothers in law, Bruce Hoyt and Calvin Clowater.
    Wavel is survived by his his son, Caleb Crain (Keshia); grandchildren, Maddox, Tatum, Layla, Jaegar and Domm; his wife, Dianne; 6 siblings, Charles Crain, Connie Flemming (Bob), Clifford Crain (Eileen), Loraine Hoyt, Hugh John Crain (Terri) and Andrea Lint (Roy); 2 sisters in law, Sharon Miskimen and Vilo Crain; 1 brother in law, Russell Wright as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
    Wavel's family would like to thank the Oncology Department at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Perth Andover as well as the second floor Doctors and Nurses at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville for their kind and compassionate care.

    It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Robert Bruce Hoyt announce his passing at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, on November 6, 2023.
    Robert will be sorely missed by his mother, Lauraine; his brother, Andrew (Lita); his niece, Chelsea, as well as his many uncles, aunts and cousins. Robert is predeceased by his father, Bruce.
    After completing school in Perth-Andover and NBCC in Moncton, Robert moved to Slave Lake, Alberta working in the oil industry for the past 22 years. He was a loyal fan of all three Boston teams and enjoyed playing golf as often as he could.
    There will be a visitation at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. A private family graveside service will follow.
    In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
