    The death of Arnold Joseph Boyd of Johnville occurred on Monday, August 17, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born April 23, 1933 in Johnville he was the son of the late Cloud and Gertrude (Pickard) Boyd. He was also predeceased by 1 son, Stephen Andrew Boyd; 3 siblings, Basil Boyd (Theresa), Madeline Logue (Johnny) and Walter "Sam" Boyd; 3 brothers in law, Ronald Barry, Walter Krochenski and Joseph Benson.

    Arnold is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Cecelia; 4 children, Robert Boyd; Michael Boyd (Jackie), Jackie Brennan (Paul) and Pauline McIntyre (Rob); 9 grandchildren, Lucas Boyd , Jared Boyd, Leslie Boyd, Ellen Boyd, Ben Brennan (Emily), Alice Brennan, Mollie Brennan, Emily McIntyre and Ethan McIntyre; 2 great grandchildren, Evoleht and Blane Brennan; 5 sisters, Helen Barry, Barbara Krochenski, Billie Benson, Denise Vanderkley (Karel) and Pauline Lavery (Alex); 1 sister in law, Betty Boyd as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

    Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 4-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00 am from St. John the Evangelist Church, Johnville. Fr. Owen Burns as celebrant. Interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery with a reception following in the church hall. For those who wish donations made to the Martin Kilfoil Fund or St. John the Evangelist Church would be appreciated.

    At his residence, Halifax, N.S. on August 3, 1997, Stephen Andrew Boyd formerly of Johnville, N.B. Born in Bath, N.B. he was the son of Arnold and Cecelia (Doherty) Boyd, Johnville N.B.

    Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters, Jacqueline (Mrs. Paul Brennan) of South Johnville, N.B., Pauline (Mrs. Robert McIntyre) of Oakville, Ont., two brothers, Robert (Maureen) of Calgary, Alberta, Michael (Jackie) of Johnville, N.B., nieces and nephews and cousins.

    Resting at Kilcollins Funeral Home, Bath, N.B. with visiting Wednesday 2-9 p.m. Funeral service at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Johnville, N.B. On Thursday, August 28, 1997 at 11 a.m. Interment in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. Father Dan Melanson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Martin Kilfoil Memorial Fund.
