    Antonio Edgar Gauvin, 81, of Woodstock, NB, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Antonio was born in St. Leonard , NB, on December 9, 1926, son of the late Frank and Martha (Gagnon) Gauvin.

    Antonio is survived by his wife Glenna (Stickney) Gauvin, Woodstock, NB, children; Valerie Tompkins (Leon) Knowlesville, NB, Lorraine Brown (Roger), East Glassville, NB, Gary (Theresa) Tracey, NB, Eldon (Marilyn) East Knowlesville, NB, step daughter, Karen Burke (Raymond) Centreville, NB, stepsons; Steven Underhill, Hartland, NB, Peter Underhill, Fredericton, NB, Broderick Underhill, Maple Ridge, BC, several grand and great grandchildren, brothers, Roger, St. George, NB, Tommy, Nackawic, NB, sisters, Carol Davidson (John), Kirkland, NB, Carmel Stairs, Nackawic, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents Antonio was predeceased by five sisters, and three brothers.

    Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Rev. Murray Whitehouse officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

    Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB on Friday, October 19 from 1 PM to 2 PM. Funeral service will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 2 PM. Interment will be held at a later date.
