    The death of Shirley Madeline (Kenney) Biggar occurred on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Ruth Anna's Ladies Home in Hartland. Born April 5, 1933 in Knowlesville, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Ethel (Branscombe) Kenney. She was also predeceased by her husband, James; son Eldon Gauvin; step son, Scott Biggar; sisters, Queenie and Willa; brothers, Ronald, Gerald, Maynard and Norval.

    Shirley is survived by her 3 children, Gary Gauvin (Teresa) of Tracy, NB, Lorraine Brown (Roger) of East Glassville and Valerie Tompkins (Leon) of Knowlesville; step children, Paula Biggar and Steven Biggar; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; daughter in law, Marilyn Gauvin; brother, Fred Kenney; brother in law, James Wasson; sister in law, Faye Kenney as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

    Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Murray Whitehouse will officiate. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Esdraelon.     Eldon is survived by his wife; Marilyn (White) Gauvin, Knowlesville, NB, mother Shirley Biggar, Hartland, NB, daughters; Delta Holder (Mike Andries), Woodstock, NB, Stephanie Gauvin, Glassville, NB, son; Derek Gauvin, Knowlesville, NB, grandchildren; Alicia Stoddard, Adam Stoddard, Landen Gauvin, sisters; Valerie Tompkins (Leon), Golden Ridge, NB, Lorraine Brown (Roger), East Glassville, NB, brother; Gary Gauvin (Theresa), Tracey, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Eldon was predeceased by his father; Antonio Gauvin.

    Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB on Friday, October 19 from 1 PM to 2 PM. Funeral service will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 2 PM. Interment will be held at a later date.

    In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Association or the Diabetic Association.
