    Obituary:

    The late James A. Bell of Bristol passed
    away on December 27, 1968 at the Northern Carleton Hospital due to a heart
    seizure at the age of 75.

    Mr. Bell was born in Glassville on July 4, 1893.
    He was the son of the late James Bell and Margaret(Campbell) Bell. The greater
    part of his life was spent in the Glassville area. For the last sixteen years he
    has resided in Bristol.

    He is survived by his wife Bernice (Giggie) Bell;
    three sons, Clarence and Bonar of Oshawa, Ontario and Arthur of Chipman, N.B.;
    nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; one sister, Mrs. William Sweet of
    Bath, N.B. ; several nieces and nephews; also a daughter-in-law, Barbara of
    Kitchener, Ontario.

    One sister Mrs. James Lovely of Glassville predeceased
    him several years ago. One son, Russell E. Bell predeceased him 16 years ago in
    Kitchener, Ontario.

    Funeral services for the late Mr. Bell were held on
    Monday, December 30, 1968 from his late home to the United Baptist Church of
    Bristol conducted by Rev. Philip Giberson assisted by Rev. Carl Price. Hymns
    rendered by Mrs. Elaine White and Sandra McLean were " Abide With Me, " Where
    Roses Never Fade, " and " Beautiful Isle of Somewhere. " Organist was Mrs.
    Philip Giberson.

    Pallbearers were Gordon Saunders, Ronald McDougall, Alva
    Giggie, James Derrah, Fred Lamont and Jack Dickinson, friends of the deceased.
    Many floral tributes, donations to the Gideon Bible, Heart Fund, The United
    Church of Glassville and personal donations were received. Funeral director was
    Fred Kilcollins. Interment was in the Bristol Community
    Cemetery.

Bernice (daughter of Frederick Burton GIGGIE and Jane (Jennie) Margaret HOULTON) was born on 30 Jun 1907 in Fielding, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada; died on 29 Oct 1988; was buried in 1988 in Bristol Community Cemetery, Bristol, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada.
