    Freda Kathleen Ruff went home to be with her Lord peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on December 9th, 2022. She was born July 14th, 1926, in Piercemont to the late John and Edith (Fullerton) Anderson. She was predeceased by her husband, John Andrew Ruff; her son, Gary Allen Ruff; daughter in law, Carolyn Ruff and her six siblings, Gordon, Hazel, Muriel, Frank, Dean, and Avis
    Freda is survived by her two sons, Johnnie Marvin Ruff (Mary) and Calvin Andrew Ruff (Sonia); seven grandchildren, Tammy Crain (Laurie), Krista McMann (Jason), Andrew Ruff (Tracy), Megan, Jason Ruff (Pamela), Jennie Podrabarac (John), Nicole Streek (Tom); 14 great-grandchildren, Eric (Lane), Mark (Darcy), Logan (Dani), Morgan (Kristy), Kelsi (Tanner), Luke (Makayla), Emma (Nick), Jackson, Thomas, Hannah (Nathan), Noah, Christian, Camden and Callan; and five great-great-grandchildren, Rowan, Landon, Caroline, Lily, and Lincoln.
    Grammy was happiest when cooking, baking and visiting with family and loved ones. Caring for her family and friends was Grammy's passion. "She will be deeply missed."
    Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 3-6 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1:00 pm from the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Toben Steeves will officiate. The interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery. Donations made to the Mineral Cemetery or the Extra Mural Program would be appreciated.

    Avis D. Budrow
    Avis Dana Budrow of Beechwood, NB passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Avis was born December 9, 1935 in Piercemont, NB, she was the daughter of the late John and Edith (Fullerton) Anderson. She was also predeceased by her husbands, Wayne Ruff and Vernon Budrow; 5 siblings Gordon Anderson, Hazel Knights, Muriel Orser, Frank Anderson and Dean Anderson.
    Avis very much enjoyed playing "Skip-Bo" with her friends and eating out, especially Chinese food, taking drives outback, going to church, bus tours and snowmobiling. She love to go the camp and entertain company there.
    Avis is survived by her 5 children, Sandra Othberg (Fritz), Blair Ruff, Wanda Oakes (Stephen), Sheldon Ruff (Jan) and Gail McIntosh (Kevin); 1 sister, Freda Ruff.
    Her children feel blessed to have grown up in a loving home. She was kind and generous.
    Avis had 12 grandchildren who loved her dearly. Nadine Othberg, Tyson Othberg (Lisa), Troy Othberg (Marley), Kiska Ruff, Travis Ruff (Heather), Brandy Ruff, Tyler Oakes (Marieve), Lindsay McFarlane (Shawn), Lauren Ruff, Rachel Ruff, Skylar McIntosh (Tyler) and Chelsey McIntosh; 11 great grandchildren
    Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2:00 pm from the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Toben Steeves officiating. The interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church or the Mineral Cemetery would be appreciated.
    A special thanks to Dr. Anderson and the nursing staff at the Upper River Valley Hospital for the care that was given to Avis.

    Muriel P. Orser of Hartland passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. Muriel was born September 23, 1927 and was the daughter of the late John and Edith (Fullerton) Anderson. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son, Larry Orser, grandchildren; Kevin Johnston, Kyle Johnston, Jamie Orser, Melissa Orser, great grandchild, Selena Craig, sister, Hazel Knights, brothers; Gordon Anderson and Dean Anderson.

    Muriel is survived by her husband Phillip Orser of Hartland, children; Dale (Pam) Orser of Woodstock, Marsha (Brian) Tibbits of Wakefield, April Orser of Hartland, Lisa (Kevin) Johnston of Rockland, Rusty Orser of Hartland, grandchildren; Danielle (René) Handfield, Mystye (Jay) Craig, Mitchell Tibbits, Angel Tibbits, Paige Tibbits, Eden Tibbits, Kate Johnston, Hannah Johnston, Evan Johnston, great grandchildren; Sylvie Craig, Seth Craig, Sarah Craig, sisters; Freda (John) Ruff of Beechwood, Avis (Vernon) Budrow of Centreville, brother, Frank (Faye) Anderson of Piercemont, sisters-in-law; Clara Anderson of Beechwood, Isabel Cody of Sydney, NS, Wilma Orser of Woodstock, Molly Orser of Carlisle, nieces and nephews.

    Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland. Donations to the Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Foundation (PSP) or The Rett Syndrome Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

    It is with sadness that we announce the death of Gary Allen Ruff of Upper Kent which occurred on Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born June 9, 1948 in Bath he was the son of Freda (Anderson) Ruff and the late Rev. John Ruff, Gary was also predeceased by the mother of his children, Carolyn (Gibson) Ruff.

    Gary is survived by his 4 children, Tammy Crain (Laurie), Krista McMann (Jason), Andrew Ruff (Tracy) and Megan; his mother, Freda; 7 grandchildren, Eric Crain (Lane), Logan McMann (Dani), Mark Crain (Darcy), Morgan McMann, Kelsi Ruff, Luke Ruff (Cassie) and Emma Ruff; 3 great grandchildren, Rowan, Landon and Caroline; 2 brothers, Johnnie Ruff (Mary) and Calvin Ruff (Sonia) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

    Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
