    CLAYTON T. “TOM” DOUGHERTY FORT FAIRFIELD Fort Fairfield - Clayton T. “Tom” Dougherty, 72, passed away Monday June 12, 2017, at his residence in Fort Fairfield, following an extended illness. He was born October 8, 1944 in Caribou, the son of Cecil and Helen A. (Canam) Dougherty. Clayton was a life long resident of Fort Fairfield where he attended local schools. He was employed in the farming industry for many years with Reed Farms and served seven years with the Maine National Guard. In addition to his parents, Clayton was predeceased by two brothers, Glenwood and Milton Dougherty; two sisters, Linda May Dougherty and Judy McKinnon. He is survived by his life long companion, Hattie M. Turcotte of Fort Fairfield and her son, David Turcotte and his son, Samuel Turcotte, both of Easton; two sons, Michael and Kevin Dougherty, both of Fort Fairfield; one brother and sister-in-law, Graydon and Shirley Dougherty of Castle Hill; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Gail Mazerolle of Fort Fairfield, Betty and Jes Sharpe of Grass-Valley, CA, Sharon and Alden Armor of Littleton; five grandchildren, Veronica Dougherty, Alyssa Dougherty, Jacob Perreault, Zackary Dougherty, Kassidy Dougherty; several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be conducted at a later date by Rev. George McLaughlin and Rev. Steven Graham co-officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may contribute in memory of Mr. Dougherty to the American Diabetes Association, National Processing Center, P.O. Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312.     Fort Fairfield- Lester L. Parady, 85, returned to his heavenly home on November 23, 2019 at home surrounded by family. Lester was born in Fort Fairfield on June 1, 1934, the son of Percy and June (Dougherty) Parady.. He attended Fort Fairfield High School. He worked as an auto mechanic for Michaud’s garage before becoming self-employed.
    Lester had many interests including hunting, fishing and spending time in his garden. He was always known for his love of animals, but had a special place in his heart for German Shepards. He could always be spotted on one of his many country-side journeys while listening to country music. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids.
    Lester is survived by his sons: Paul Parady and his wife Ann, Rick Parady, his daughters Ruth Benicek and her husband John, Carla Finely and her husband Keith, Tammy Parady, Leslie Henderson and her husband Allen, his brothers Richard Parady, David Parady, Carol Parady, Gerald Parady, Delbert Parady, James Parady, his sisters Joyce (Parady) Thibodeau, Patricia (Parady) Kennedy, Carlene (Parady) Linder, 14 grandkids, 9 great grandkids, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Martha (Leith) Parady, his daughter Terry (Parady) Thompson, his parents Percy and June Parady, his brother Percy Parady Jr., his brother Ronald Parady.
    Calling hours will take place on Saturday November 30th 2019 at the Mockler Funeral Home i24 Reservoir Street Caribou from 12-2pm followed directly with funeral services.
    There will be a gathering at the VFW in Fort Fairfield at 5pm .

    · Fort Fairfield - Ronald K. Parady, Sr., 64, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 14, 2013 at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, after a brief illness. He was born February 22, 1949 in Fort Fairfield, the son of Percy L. and June (Dougherty) Parady. Ronald attended local schools and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Presque Isle for a number of years. Mr. Parady worked at T.E.S.C.O. for several years before starting his own company, New Image Cleaning Service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Parady was predeceased by one brother, Percy L. Parady Jr..     It is with sadness that we announce the death of Thomas "Tom" Cecil DeMerchant of Royalton which occurred on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born February 1, 1957 in Perth he was the son of the late Cecil and Phyllis (Swim) DeMerchant. He was also predeceased by 1 sister, Cathy Paterson.

    Tom was a "people person", he owned and operated M&D Convenience in the village of Centreville for 32 years, where he chaired daily meetings for the M&D coffee club. He was a Lifetime Member of the Kinsmen Club, 27 year member of the Centreville Elks Lodge, President of the Centreville Chamber of Commerce, Tractor Pull Committee and Neighborhood Watchman. Tom was always there to lend a helping hand. His family was his life especially his grandchildren.

    Tom is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Cindy; 3 children, Sarah McCarthy (Tim), Matt DeMerchant (Stephanie) and Nick DeMerhant (Natalie); 8 grandchildren, Rylan, Carsyn, Grayson, Tyler, Owen, Kieran, Arielle and Annie; 6 siblings, Debbie O'Neill-Paquette (Roy), Mike DeMerchant (Patricia), Timothy DeMerchant (Echo), Pamela Grant (Robert), Richard DeMerhant (Danielle) and Allison DeMerchant (Tracey); 1 brother in law, Allison Paterson as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
