Obituary of Pauline Adams
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Pauline Annie Adams, of Fredericton, NB, on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was born on July 30, 1924 in Beaufort, NB and was the daughter of the late E. Oliver and Edith (Townsend) Adams. Pauline grew up and spent the first 35 years of her life in Juniper, NB. In Fredericton she worked with the Motor Vehicle Department for 35 years, and was a member of the Gibson Memorial United Church. Pauline loved to travel, play cards and knit.
Pauline is survived by her sister, Muriel Eileen Hallett of Fredericton; several cousins; close friends, Anne and Andy Small, Mitchell, and Carter.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 7 to 9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11 am with Rev. Kelly Higgins officiating. Interment will be held in the Glassville United Church Cemetery at a later date. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Windsor Court. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Chalmers Hospital Foundation or the IWK.
