    It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dorothy Anna MacKenzie announce her passing at her home on February 1, 2023 at the age of 101.
    Dorothy was born in Aberdeen, Carleton Co.; She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Wilson) Linder and the wife of the late Wendell MacKenzie who passed away in 2007.
    Dorothy was a life member of the Roachville WI and St. Paul’s United Church. She was a member of the Retired New Brunswick Teachers Association, having taught in elementary schools in Windsor, Lewisville, Juniper and Sussex where she retired in 1981. She loved to keep busy, enjoying her time spent quilting, knitting, sewing, reading and her daily crossword puzzles.
    She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
    She will live on in the hearts of her daughters: Avis McBrine and her husband Ronald (Joe) of Glassville, Jeanne Earle and her husband Arnold of Roachville and Carol MacKenzie and her husband Bryan Whittaker of Oromocto; her grandchildren; Jamie Earle, Tracy Earle, Shane Earle (Shannon), Michael McBrine (Christine) and Sean McBrine (Jennifer); her great grandchildren; Devon, MacKenzie, Hannah and Ethan as well as several nieces and nephews.
    Along with her parents and loving husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Janet O'Neill and by her brother, Murray Linder.
    Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 12-2pm. A service celebrating Dorothy’s life will be immediately following.

    Jerry was born in Woodstock, NB, October 31, 1953, son of the late Charles and Evelyn Hovey.

    Jerry is survived by one sister, Velma Tracey, brother-in-law, Douglas, sister-in-law’s, Gloria Hovey, and Bernie Beck, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Besides his Parents, Jerry was predeceased by his brothers, Wayne, Brian and sister, Lorraine.

    By request there will be no visitation or funeral service, a graveside service and interment will be held at a later date at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa.

    It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Grace Marlene Stone of Florenceville which occurred on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Born in Glassville, on March 1, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Herb and Janet (Scott) Stone. She was also predeceased by her husband, Richard Stone; brother, John Stone; sisters, Thelma Drew, Eureda Kerr and infant sister, Mary.
    Grace is survived by her loving son's, Dustin (Leanne) and Tyson (Laura); 3 grandchildren, Brayden, Landen and Cadence; 2 sisters, Naomi Stone, and Susan Thompson as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
    Grace's "Biggest Passions" were her children, grandchildren and Faith. You could often find Grace spending time with her family, cheering her grandchildren on at various activities, and involved in numerous church events and committees.
    Grace was well known in the community for her many years at the River View Manor, Bath were she retired as Director of Nursing after 30 plus years.
    In her later years Grace enjoyed retirement, travelling and volunteering. She will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to know her.
    Visitation will be held from Faith Memorial United Church, Florenceville on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the church. The interment will be in the Glassville United Cemetery.
