    Peacefully, surrounded by her family, Marjorie Helen Brown (nee Ronald) of Bath, NB, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late James Brown, dearly loved mother of David (Corenna), Perth-Andover; Donald (Diane), Kingston, ON; Carol (Larry Millie), Woodstock; Stuart (Karen), Portage La Prairie, MN and Ian (Kathryn), Carleton Place, ON. Cherished by her grandchildren Todd and Andrew; Wayne and Lee Ann; Jason and Michael; Leah, Erica, Leslee and Drew, as well as her eight great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Muriel McAfee, Joan Smith, the late Kay Holt, all of Saint John, and Ruth Mclntosh, Glassville. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Hilda, and brothers David and Charles. Marjorie will also be fondly remembered by her aunts Marge Martinson and Marion Spence and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her love and concern of family was immeasurable. Marjorie was known In both her church and community for her devotion and generosity. She had a long and fulfilling teaching career in Carleton County leading to her retirement in 1977. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Bruce Lockhart, Bath, as well as, to the staff at Saint John Regional Hospital 3CN for their wonderful care and
    compassion.

    Resting at Kilcollins Funeral Home Bath on Sunday, September 9, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held at the Faith Memorial United Church Florenceville on Monday, September 10, 2007 at 1:00 PM, Rev. Les Johnston officiating. Internment will be in the Glassville United Cemetery after the reception in the Foster Fellowship Hall.     Peacefully on Tuesday, January 29th, 2013, in her 93rd year, dearly loved mother of her son Jim (Edyth) of Oakville, ON and grandmother of Andrew (Megan Shram) and Kate (Kevin) Matchett, of Toronto, ON. Born on February 27, 1920 in Glassville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Hilda (Lamont) Ronald. Ronnie was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Ronald McAfee (1999), her brothers Charles and David (Glassville), her sisters Kathryn Holt (Saint John), Marjorie Brown (Bath) and Ruth McIntosh (Glassville). She is survived by her two great-granddaughters, Kyla Matchett and Charlotte McAfee, her sister Joan Smith (Millidgeville), her sister-in-law, Gladys McAfee (East Saint John), as well as several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She completed high school at Florenceville Superior School and graduated from the Saint John General Hospital Training School for Nurses in 1943. Passionately proud of her profession as a nurse, Ronnie conducted herself with a high standard of integrity, compassion and quiet dignity in all aspects of her life. Over the many decades that she lived in Saint John she was an avid gardener. She enjoyed curling and cross-country skiing for several years and her volunteer efforts included the Heart & Stroke Foundation as well as Meals on Wheels. Her greatest joy, however, was her family - both immediate and extended - there was always an assortment of homemade cookies and squares available for any and all visitors to her home. Appreciation and thanks are extended to the staff at Embassy Hall for providing a safe and caring environment in her final years. The funeral service will be held from the chapel at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.     The death of Joan Marie (Ronald) Smith of Saint John, wife of the late Ralph Eldon Smith, occurred on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Woodstock, NB on July 26, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Robert Jardine and Hilda Matilda (Lamont) Ronald. Prior to starting a family, Joan worked as a Radiotherapy Technician at the Saint John General Hospital. An avid volunteer, Joan had various roles and responsibilities with many different organizations; she was the provincial coordinator for the Mastectomy Reach to Recover Program, a Director of the NB Cancer Society, the District Commissioner for Girl Guides NB, Director for Girl Guides Canada, a Director of NBPOH/New Brunswick Children’s Foundation, a member of the Saint John Regional Hospital Auxiliary, an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels, The Hospice Shoppe, Imperial Theatre, and she held various positions at Portland United Church. An avid gardener, Joan also established and maintained the Oncology Garden at the Saint John Regional Hospital, and she also loved spending time in her own garden. She loved doing anything outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends. Joan is survived by her daughter, Janet Diamond (John); son, Stephen (Tara); five grandchildren: Jeffrey, Gregory, and Robert Diamond and Rachelle and Alexander Smith; as well she will be missed by extended family members and many very dear and close friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was predeceased by her sisters: Kathryn Holt, Ruth McIntosh, Marjorie Brown, and Muriel McAfee; and brothers, James and David.     Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday February 27,2014 surrounded by his family and his loving wife Diane .Loving father of Wayne (Jennifer) and LeeAnn (Denny) and remembered by his seven grandchildren. Don was born in Hamilton ON and raised in Glassville and Bath New Brunswick, Dear brother of his twin, David (Corenna), Carol (Larry), Stuart (Karen) and Ian (Kathy). Predeceased by his parents Jim and Marjorie Brown. Don served in the military for 30 years and was a supervising commissionaire at RMC for 23 years. He took great pride wearing his uniform and serving his country. Donald also known as “farmer brown” was admired for his amazing vegetable garden in his backyard. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life Friday May 23, 2014 from 1-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 631, 4034 Bath Rd Kingston ON K7M 4Y4. Private family burial will be held at the Cataraqui Cemetery.     Jason James Millie of Nackawic, NB passed away September 27, 2019 at Nackawic as the result of a motorcycle accident. Jason was born December 12, 1973 at Woodstock, NB, a son of Larry and Carol (Brown) Millie.

    He is survived by his wife, Robin Setchell; his children, Briana Millie and Jordan Millie; a granddaughter, Norah; his parents, Larry and Carol Millie; his brother, Michael Millie (Victoria); the mother of his children, Sarah Sampson; his parents-in-law, John and Nancy Setchell; a brother-in-law, Teddy Setchell (Nancy); four nephews, Owen, Ben, James and Mason; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

    Visitation was held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 12 noon to 2 pm, followed by the funeral service in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Legere officiating. A eulogy was delivered by Jason's brother Michael. Music was provided by Oland Monteith. Interment will be held at a later date at Glassville United Cemetery.
