    It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Marion Elizabeth (Briggs) McIntosh of Clarksville NB on Thursday November 9, 2023, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 83.

    Marion was born on September 29, 1940 in Fredericton NB to the late Frederick and Stella (Lindsay) Briggs. Marion is survived by her husband Allison McIntosh, Son Brent (Vesta) McIntosh, Daughter Melody McIntosh, Grand Children Dieter, Bryton, Bryce, Krista, Great Grand Children Sophie, Violet, Harper, and Brother Weldon (Audrey) Briggs.

    Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by a Great Grand Daughter Saphira, Brothers Eric (Mary) Briggs, Neal (Alice) Briggs, Sisters Irma MacDonald, Wanda (John) Winslow, Brother-in-law Frank Oliver.

    Visitation will be held on Sunday November 12, 2023, from Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB from 1 to 3PM. Funeral Service will be held in the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 3PM on Sunday. Interment to follow at the Lindsay Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lindsay Cemetery.

    Eric Charles Briggs - formerly of Oakville, NB passed away at Carleton Manor. In Woodstock on Saturday, September 08, 2018, at the age of 91. Eric Was born at Oakville, on April 15, 1927, son of the late Fred and Stella (Lindsay) Briggs.

    Eric is survived by his wife Mary Briggs; 2 sons Robert Briggs of Weston, NB; Brian Briggs of Oakville, NB; 1 daughter, Lisa Johnston and her husband Trevor of Weston, NB; 1 brother Weldon Briggs and his wife Audrey of Oakville, On; one sister, Marion McIntosh and her husband Allison of Clarkville, NB; 4 grandchildren, Charles Briggs; Maggie Briggs; Michael Thomas; Mallory Thomas; Besides his parents, Eric was pre-deceased by a brother Neil Briggs, sisters Irma Oliver and Wanda Winslow.

    Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB, with visiting on Sunday Sept 10, 2018 from 4:00pm- 8:00pm.

    The funeral Service will be held on Monday at 2:00pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel.

    Rev. Todd MacLeod will be officiating, with interment in the Lindsay Cemetery.
