Obituary:
The death of Garfield “Bud” Harry White, of Summerfield, occurred on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Perth-Andover, N.B. Born September 4, 1934 in Greenfield, NB, he was the son of the late Beverly and Florence (Girouard) White and husband to Sadie (Quinn) White.
Bud was a great outdoorsman. He loved horses, cattle and his family.
Bud is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sadie; 7 children, Catherine Taylor (David), Joseph White (Glenda), John White (Brenda), Deborah Thomas (Ivan), Dawn Kenneson(Darrell), Timothy White (Linda), Jason White (Julie); 24 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; Siblings, Gilbert White (Mona) and Geneva King (Don); Sister-in-law, Mamie McDonald; Brother-in-law, Donald Quinn (Susan); Aunt, Geraldine White; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and son-in-law George Tweedie.
Visitation will be held from L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville on Monday, June 14, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the L. R. Giberson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Adams officiating. Interment will be in the Greenfield Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Florenceville Legion.
