    The death of Anna Marjorie Kilfoil of Johnville occurred on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the River View Manor, Bath. Anna was born September 5, 1935 in Fielding and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Janet (Guiggie) Bell. She was also predeceased 2 husbands, William “Bill” York in 1972 and Gerald Kilfoil in 2016; 2 siblings, Albert Bell (Marion) and Edith Doherty (Sonny).

    Anna is survived by her son, Mitchell York (Shawn); 9 stepchildren, Mary Kilfoil, (Ed), Gerry Kilfoil (Donna), Vincent Kilfoil (Brenda), Patrick Kilfoil (Andrea), Michelle Ralph (Peter), Katherine Wood (Peter), Maria Kilfoil, Michael Kilfoil (Wanda) and Sean Kilfoil (Corinne); 26 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Charlie Bell (Alberta) and Donnie Bell (Katherine) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

    Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, August 7, 2023 from 11-2 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Vaughn Palin and Fr. Bill Brennan will officiate. The interment will be in the Bristol Community Cemetery. Donations made to the Bristol Community Cemetery or the Fielding Cemetery would be appreciated.

    Ashland--- Frances I. Carney, 79, peacefully entered into rest Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Aroostook House of Comfort, with her family at her side. She was born July 17, 1941 in Fielding, NB, Canada, the youngest of ten children born to the late Glenn and Laura (Guiggy) MacDonald.

    Fran last worked as a waitress at former Shirley & Harold’s Restaurant, Presque Isle, for over 10 years, until her retirement in 2000. Previously she also worked with Burrells/New England Press Clipping and was a CNA at Presque Isle Nursing Home. Fran loved to go to BINGO with her husband, frequenting the American Legion in Caribou, and loved to chat the evening away. She was exceptionally friendly and sociable and could turn a complete stranger into one of her best friends in minutes. Her greatest accomplishment was her huge heart, which she never hesitated to share with her husband, children, grandchildren, and all friends near and far.

    She is survived by: her beloved husband of 38 years, Rodney A. Carney of Ashland; two children, Cheryl (Melvin) Martin and her husband Marc of Ashland, and Kenneth Melvin of Presque Isle; three step children whom she called her own, Torrey Carney of Melbourne, FL, Buffy Carney of Frederickton, Canada, and Justin Carney and his wife Alyssa of Washburn; one sister, Shirley Bubar of Ontario, Canada; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

    Besides her parents, Fran was predeceased by one son, Keith Melvin, and eight siblings, Clarence, Harold and Doug MacDonald, Gladys Underhill, Hazel McDougall, Elva Brigs, Rena McNeill, and Helen Kinney.

    Funeral services for Fran will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Fairmount Cemetery, Houlton Road, Presque Isle.     Judy Irene MacDougall of Woodstock passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the Carleton manor in Woodstock, She was born August 18, 1947 and was the daughter of the late Lucius and Hazel (MacDonald) MacDougall. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Warren; sister Darlene Kenney; brother-in-law Lloyd Kenney; husband Darrell Johnston; and the father of her children, Larry Dyer.

    Judy enjoyed cooking, going to church, going to Bannon Camp and listening to fiddle playing. Most of all she loved spending time with her great grandchildren.

    Judy is survived by her three children, Bonnie (Robert) Lawson of Jacksonville, Larry (Angela) Dyer of Jacksonville, Murray Dyer of St. George; grandchildren, Rebecca Lawson, Jeremy (Nobalee Morehouse) Lawson, Justin 9 Katherine Fox) Lawson, Ashley (Kyle Watson) Dyer, Lindsay (John Hartley) Dyer, Tyler Dyer, Rachel Dyer, Reese Dyer; great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Colton, Ryan, Aiden, Elaina, Harlee, Ralgon, Logan and Carson; sisters, Linda (Dale) Adams, Maxine (Kerry) Giberson, Diane (Joe) Simms, Gwen (Fred) Anderson; sister-in-law, Gloria MacDougall; several nieces and nephews.

    Visitation will be held at the Britton Funeral Home 2 High Street, Hartland on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 4th at 1:00 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel.
