- Obituary:
Elsie Elizabeth McIntosh of Glassville passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Mount Haven Special Care Home in Glassville. She was born July 8, 1930 and was the daughter of the late William and Mary McIntosh. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mildred Fraser, and her brother-in-law, Angus Fraser.
Elsie was a school teacher for the Province of New Brunswick for 35 years, 28 of those years being at the Hartland High School. Elsie was also involved in many organizations; the Girl Guides, The Naturalist Club of New Brunswick, The Canadian Nature Federation, the UCW both in Glassville and Hartland, and the I.O.D.E.
Elsie is survived by her brother Gerald (Sandra) McIntosh; sister. Mary (Paul) Campbell; nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 31st from 12 to 2 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel with Stephen Brown officiating.
