  Obituary: Thomas E. Tompkins 1981-2026 It is with sadness that the family of Thomas “Tom” Earle Tompkins of Mount Pleasant, NB announce his sudden passing which occurred on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at his home. Tom was born April 27, 1981, in Woodstock, NB.Tom was predeceased by his grandparents, Don and Irene McLean, Earle and Florence Tompkins; 2 aunts, Jeannie MacDonald, Elda Sinclair; 3 cousins, Cayley Fox, Colin Hume and Peter Sinclair. Tom is survived by his fiancé, Brandy; children, David, Rachel, Winona, Coy and Teneal; his parents, Raymond and Marilyn Tompkins; 2 brothers, Scott Tompkins and Kirk Tompkins (Raylene) as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family that loved him very much. Visitation will be held from Burnham Road Church, 340 Burnham Rd. Oakland on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 12-2 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm from the church. Rev. Nathan Smith will officiate. The funeral service will be livestreamed on the Burnham Road Church Facebook page. The interment will be held at a later date in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
