  Obituary: Dorothy Demerchant October 23, 1932 — October 1, 2022 DeMerchant, Dorothy Grace (née Grant) Born in Kilburn, New Brunswick October 23, 1932 -October 1, 2022 Peacefully, with her Sons at her side in Hamilton, Ontario. Wife of the late Leo DeMerchant for 59 years. Daughter of the late Leigh and Elsie Grant. Mother to Robert (Joan) & Brian (Pat). Predeceased by daughters Brenda (Brent) Woolsey and infant daughter Carol Jean. She will be dearly missed by her Grandchildren Brent, Richard, Jennifer, James, Travis, Shane, Tammy, Tracy, and spouses. She'll also be dearly missed by several Great Grandchildren and Great, Great Grandchildren. As well as many Nieces and Nephews & Friends. Sister to Marion, (Jack/Harry), Joan (Clarence), Keith (Carol), Gary (Margaret). Predeceased by Elizabeth, Fred, Audrey, Linda, and infant brother Robert. Dorothy was well known as the "Tupperware Lady". Both Leo & Dorothy enjoyed many years as Tupperware distributor's in Ottawa. Visitation to be held on Thursday October 6th, 2022, at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Baseline and Bayshore) from 11am – 1pm. Funeral to follow in the chapel at 1pm. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial at Tubman Funeral Homes.
