      James Arthur Sherwood
      January 4, 1957 - July 25, 2025

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, James (Jim or Red) Arthur Sherwood of Woodstock, NB on July 25, 2025, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 68.

Jim was born January 4, 1957, in Woodstock, NB to the late James and Eunice (Jordan) Sherwood of Lower Brighton.

Jim is survived by one sister and one brother and their families. Dianne Dymond of Woodstock and her daughter Jenette (Chris) Luskey and their son Gage. William Sherwood (Bunny) of Lower Brighton and their daughter and son and their families. Billie-Jo (Roland) Geiger and their son Richard, James (Amber) Sherwood and their children Herizon, Landon, Zander and Wyatt.

Jim grew up in Lower Brighton and like all young men of that time, moved to Ontario to work as soon as he was old enough. He spent his entire adult life working in Ontario, mainly as a truck driver. He returned home to NB in 2020 due to ill health.
Jim had a small circle of friends, but that circle included his co-workers, particularly John Stobart, who kept in touch for the past five years after helping him move back to NB, and Joe Thibodeau, a childhood friend from home.

Keeping with Jim’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A family burial will be held at Lower Brighton Cemetery, at a later date.
If so desired, donations in Jim’s memory can be made to the Lower Brighton Cemetery.
