  Obituary: Bliss Brown 1913-2008 Bliss M. Brown of Avondale passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. Bliss was born January 17, 1913 and was the son of the late Lemuel and Bernice (Estabrooks) Brown. He was predeceased by a grandson, Timothy Brown, great grandson, Keadon McLeod, sisters; Velma Brown and Ferne DeLong, brothers; Gordon Brown, Wendell Brown and Frank Brown. He is survived by his children; Lois (Emery Doherty) Brown of Hartland, Clayton (Charlene) Brown of Woodstock, Norma (Michael) Martin of Carlisle, Mary Ann (Mike) Schriver of Woodstock, grandchildren; Tressa (Corey Thibodeau) Brown, Andrea (Nick Harding) Brown, Justin Brown, Cody Brown, Chastity (Mark) Brooker, Stephanie Wheaton, Jaclyne (Johnny Lawlor) Martin, great grandchildren; MacKenzie McLeod, Kailey McLeod, Rylan McLeod, Riley Wheaton, sister, Agatha Buxton of Hartland, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Sunday, December 21st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral service will be held on Monday the 22nd at 2:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton Memorial Chapel in Hartland. Interment will be in the Avondale Cemetery at a later date.
