  Obituary: Oran Leigh DeLong March 7, 1932 - July 25, 2006 Oran Leigh DeLong, 74, passed away on Tuesday July 25 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital, Woodstock, NB. Oran was born in Avondale, NB, March 7, 1932, son of the late William and Cora (Miller) DeLong. Surviving is his special friend Norma Cole, daughter Carol Mills, Fort McMurray, Alberta, step children: Lonnie Cole, Woodstock, NB, Ellen Marshall (Glen), Port Stanley, ON, Deborah Bayson (Ergul), Burlington, ON, Stephen Cole (Sharon), London, ON, Kelly Best (James), Enfield, NS, several grandchildren, brother, David, sisters, Geraldine, Mary, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, brother Leo and sister Pearl. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 27 at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Friday July 28 from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 3 PM with Rev. Bev Brazier officiating. Interment will be in the Avondale Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Avondale Cemetery or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
