  Obituary: Leverett McElhinney February 12, 1932 - December 16, 2014 Leverett McElhinney, 82, of Newburg NB passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville NB. Leverett was born in East Brighton NB on February 12, 1932 son of the late John Sr. and Hazel (Parsons) McElhinney. Leverett is survived by his wife; Elizabeth (Cullins) McElhinney, children; Buddy & Aldean McLaughlin, Allen & Diane Hazlett, Danny McElhinney, Susan & Brent Farrell, Sally & Everett Clark, grandchildren; Chris, Tosha, Kyle , Billy, Travis, Karie, Matthew, Mallory, great grandchildren; Veda, Sage, Coy, Brynn, Brock, Austin, Alexis, Bailey, Katelynn, Darren, Ethan, Kyleigh, Brayden, sisters; Iva Dow, Ruby Kimball, Sarah McNally, Edna Dickinson, Glenna Michaud, brothers; Rev. John F. McElhinney JR, Robert McElhinney, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents; Leverett was predeceased by brothers; Fred McElhinney, Russell McElhinney, sisters; Lillian MacDonald, Bertha McDade, Beatrice Bird, Mary Trecartin and Irene DeLong. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Sunday, December 21 from 7 PM to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22 at 11 AM from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel.
