- Obituary:
The death of Hazen Cook Shaw, McAdam, N.B.,occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on Wednesday, April 13, 1983. Born in Mainstream, the only son of the late Mrs. Clifford W. MacQuarrie and the late Harley J. Shaw.
The remains rested at Swans Funeral Homes, Harvey, N.B. from where the funeral service was held Friday at 2 P.M. He is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter, Hazen R. Shaw of St. John, Allen Shaw, Mrs. Lloyd Laking (Lynn) and Darren Shaw all of McAdam; also seven grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Lauriston Lawrence (Winnifred), Mrs. Norman Prosser (Myrna) and Mrs. Clinton DeLong (Marguerite) all of Hartland. Many floral and memorial tributes were received. Internment was in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam.
