1930 - 2016
The passing of Gordon Percy Morgan of Estey’s Bridge, NB, husband of Florence (Giberson) Morgan occurred on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 31, 1930 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Allen and Mary (Smith) Morgan. Gordon was a carpenter. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and four wheeling.
In addition to his wife, Gordon is survived by his son, Larry Morgan (Deborah) of Rusagonis, NB; daughter, Susan Wilson (Peter) of Estey’s Bridge, NB; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Douglas Morgan (Glenna); sister, Joyce Bell (Edward); several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sons, Robert and Brian Morgan and five brothers.
Although there will be no visitation by his request. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 2 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will take place in Fielding Cemetery, Fielding, NB at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
