Audrey H. McElhinney
1930-2012
Audrey H. McElhinney of Grand Bay Westfield passed away on Friday, December 14th at the Loch Lomond Villa in Saint John. She was born March 23, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Archie and Annie (Stewart) Bubar. She was predeceased by her siblings, Weldon, Clifton and James Bubar and Sybil MacKenzie.
Audrey is survived by her husband Rev. John McElhinney of Grand Bay Westfield; children, Rev. David (Carolyn) McElhinney of Grand Bay Westfield, , Cheryl (Mark) Porter of Lower Greenwich; grandchildren, Jonathan (Melanie) McElhinney, Joel McElhinney, Joy (Dan) Pusey, Jordan (Katrina) McElhinney, Charity Porter, Nicolas Porter; great grandchildren, Josiah, Kathryn, Isaiah and Faith McElhinney, Grace, Karise, Ayden and Melisa Pusey; nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the River Valley Wesleyan Church (www.rvwc.ca) with a time to fellowship with the family following the service. A second celebration of her life will be held on Monday at 6 p.m at Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street Hartland, followed by a time to meet with the family. The interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland at a later date.
