      Stanley Burton Crandlemire
      24 May 1922 - 27 November 2009

      Stanley Burton Crandlemire age 87 of Mount Pleasant, NB passed away Friday, November 27, 2009 at Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB.
      Born in Mount Pleasant, he was a son of the late Harry and Estella (Tompkins) Crandlemire.

      Stanley owned and operated his own farm for many years. He was a veteran of World War II serving in Newfoundland and Labrador. For the past year Stanley resided at Riverview Manor, Bath.

      He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

      He is survived by his wife the former Geraldine Crabbe, of Bath, NB, two daughters; Sharon (James) O’Regan of Dieppe, NB and Gaynell (Rodney) Long of Amherst, NS, one son, Carvell (Sharon) of Mount Pleasant, 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

      Besides his parents, Stanley was predeceased by his first wife the former Marjorie Ebbett, infant son Stanley Burton, sister Lois Burns and brothers James, Aubrey and H. Glenn.

      Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 1 PM. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

      Memorial donations in Stanley’s memory may be made the Mount Pleasant Cemetery or Riverview Manor.
