  Obituary: Joanne S. Ellis 1954-2013 Joanne S. Ellis, age 59, of Juniper passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was predeceased by her mother Georgina Tompkins in 2011. Joanne is survived by her children, Heidi Ellis of Oromocto, Mickey (Rebecca Bois) Ellis of Grand Falls; grandchildren, Spencer Frenette, Shayna Marquis; her partner, Fred Shaw of Oakland; her siblings, Larry (Lois) Tompkins of Rockland, Lloyd (Daphene) Tompkins of Gordonsville, Faye Miller of Trenton, ON, Glenn Tompkins of Mount Pleasant, David Tompkins of Bannon, Joyce Reid of St. Stephen, Sally (Brian) Shaw of Oakland, Carol Acheson of Saint John; the father of her children, Oland Ellis of Juniper; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with the funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Michael Horsman officiating.
