  Obituary: Georgina Tompkins 1928-2011 Georgina W. Tompkins passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at her home in Peel. She was born September 16, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Rebecca Brewer. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a grandson Little Davey; sisters, Mary and Pauline; brothers, Jasper and Edison. Georgina is survived by her children, Larry (Lois) Tompkins of Rockland, Lloyd (Daphene) Tompkins of Mount Pleasant, Faye Miller of Trenton, ON, Glenn Tompkins of Mount Pleasant, Joanne Ellis of Juniper, David Tompkins of Bannon, Joyce Reid of St. Stephen, Sally (Brian) Shaw of Oakland, Carol Acheson of Saint John; 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; Her latest great grandchild, born a week ago, was named after her (Georgie); sister Stella Billings of Zealand; brothers, George Brewer of Zealand, Vernon Brewer of Zealand, Ralston Brewer of Zealand; nieces and nephews. Resting at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Sunday, October 23rd from 2 to 3 p.m. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. with Pastor Michael Horsman officiating.
