Monica L. McIntosh
1945-2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Monica Louise McIntosh formerly, of Juniper, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Monica was born March 10, 1945, in Hamilton, ON and was the daughter of the late Elva Bradley. Monica was also predeceased by her beloved husband, Carl; her daughter, Shawna Lewis; 2 brothers, Curtis McCartney & Edwin Bradley; 1 sister Cheyenne Keilty.
"Monica was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, but above all, a faithful follower of Christ. She lived a life that honored God, always eager to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. Known for her warm sense of humor and unwavering faith, she was a true prayer warrior whose presence brought strength and joy to those around her."
Monica is survived by her son, Shayne McIntosh (Darla); son-in-law, Mark Lewis (Jodie); 5 grandchildren, Natasha (Waylon), Trevor, Taylor (Gabie), Erica (Jeremy) and Cody (Ali); 5 great grandchildren, Shawna, Leia, Bryan, Jake and Atreus; 4 siblings, Brock(Laurel)Bradley, Bart (Christine), Bradley, Jan Blackmore (Tommy)and Shayne (Angela) Bradley, Brother-in-law Keith McIntosh (Alva)as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A graveside service for Monica and Carl will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11 am at the Biggar Ridge Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations made to the Juniper United Pentecostal Church would be appreciated. L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors are entrusted with the arrangements.
