      Mable A. Taylor
      1924-2013

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mable Annie (Freeman) Taylor of Upper Kent, NB on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Hotel Dieu St Joseph Hospital in Perth-Andover. Born on January 20, 1924, she was the daughter of the late George and Ethel (Tapley) Freeman.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Valentine Taylor, brothers Gilbert, Merrill, Ervine, Albert, William and Raymond; sisters May, Edna and Jenny; son John, stepdaughter Veronica Tucker, and her companion of over forty years, Arthur Tucker.

Mable made many good friends during her long career at McCain Foods Ltd., and she especially enjoyed chatting with 'the girls' while carpooling to work each day. Her kitchen welcomed many, many visitors over the years; more than a few Saturday nights were filled with friends, music, laughter, and a good game of 45s. She was quick to offer a cup of tea and a bite to eat to everyone who stopped by. No one in need was turned away from Mable's door, and we are forever grateful for her kindness and generosity.

Mable is survived by her children, Barbara (Arthur) Archer, Moose Mountain, Sandra Taylor, Upper Kent, Mary Taylor, Woodstock, and Arthur (Stacey DesRoches) Taylor, Oakland; chosen sons Wayne Taylor, Upper Kent, and David (Nicole) Taylor, Woodstock; stepsons Frank (Patti) Tucker, and James (Sueann Michaud) Tucker, both of Moose Mountain; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 2-3 pm with a Celebration of Mabel's life following at 3pm. Rev. Darryl Crain will officiate. Interment will be in the Wharton Cemetery. Donations made to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated. www.gibersonfuneraldirectors.ca (506) 392-1115
