  Obituary: John Ray McElroy September 9, 1957 - February 7, 2025 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Ray McElroy of Woodstock on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 67. John was born in Woodstock, NB on September 27, 1957, to the late Robert and Stella (McNeil) McElroy. John is survived by his daughter Stephanie of Woodstock, NB, son John Ray (Jr) (Erin) of Greenwood NS. Grandchildren, Brayden, Chelsea, Mason, Malika, Maddison, Mya, Zoe, Wyatt, Declan, Grady Brothers, Reg (Linda), David (Carol), sisters, Sue (Phil), Shirley (Rick), Peggy, Debbie, Kelly (John), sister-in-law Linda. Several nieces and nephews, Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his son Robert, brother Lloyd and nephews Randy and Mark. There will be no public visitation, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
