    • Obituary:

      STUART-The death of Laura (Tulk) Stuart of St. Stephen, wife of Hibbert Stuart, occurred at her residence, Monday March 31, 2008. Laura was born in Harbour Buffett, NL on February 20, 1915. The daughter of the late Capt. Frank and Florence (Pyke) Tulk.
      She grew up in Saint John, NB and spent most of her married life in St. Stephen. She was active in the community and her church. She was a Charter Member of the Atlantic Chapter I.O.D.E., Commissioner of the Girl Guides, member of Christ Church Guild and served on the board of Lonicera Hall.
      In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Beverley Doherty (Wayne) of Quispamsis, NB and Martha Nutbrown (David) of Halifax, NS, grandchildren, Doug Boyle (Diane), Saint John, NB, David Boyle (Melissa), California and Elizabeth Doherty (Kevin), Fredericton, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
      She is predeceased by her eldest daughter, Lynn Boyle as well as her six brothers and sisters, Ralph and Maxwell Tulk, Blanche Smith, Irene Robinson, Marion Wrenshall and Hilda McLaren.
      Family will receive friends at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB on Thursday evening April 3, 2008 from 7 to 9 PM.
      Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday April 4, 2008 at 2 PM with Archdeacon Lyman Harding officiating.
      Interment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
      In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Lincourt Manor, Charlotte County Hospital Auxillary or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
