  Obituary: Douglas Oley Foran, age 83, of Maplehurst, NB passed away at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on Thursday, October 30, 2008. He was the son of the late Harry and Ethel (Stewart) Foran. He was predeceased by a son Brian. Doug is survived by his wife Florence (McNally) Foran of Maplehurst, NB, children; Nancy (Fred) McIntosh of Bath, NB, Ruth (Terry) MacDonald of Red Cliff, Alberta, Lisa (Fred) Bell of Maplehurst, NB, Carol (Richard) Morgan of Kingston, ON, grandchildren; Fred (Shelley) McIntosh, Lance (Deanna Green) McIntosh, Alisha (Curtis) Peterson, Nicole MacDonald, Heidi (Ryan) Metz, Christopher MacDonald, Ashley MacDonald, Chasity (Kevin Crawford) Foran, Candace Bell, Franky Bell, Danny Morgan, Susan Morgan, great grandchildren; Adam Ebbett, Noah McIntosh, Hannah-Rae McIntosh, Mason Metz, Destiny Crawford, sisters, Helen (Wayne) Gifford of Brewer, ME, Alice Gaunce of Saint John, NB, Diann (Doug) Beatty of Saint John, NB, brothers; Ellery (Gertrude) Foran of Kilburn, NB, Robert (Joyce) Foran of Maplehurst, nieces and nephews. Resting at The Britton Funeral Home, High Street, Hartland with visiting hours on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. from the Upper Kent Pentecostal Church.
