      Marie Shaw Lloyd
      1935-2020

      It is with great sadness that we say good bye to Marie Shaw Lloyd who passed away at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Perth-Andover on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Born Sunday, March 31, 1935 in Bath, New Brunswick Marie was a loving wife, cherished mother, dear grandmother and caring sister. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Lila (Hallett) Shaw.

      Known for her fashion flair and kind heart she was also ready to give a helping hand with a gift of baked goods when people were in need. She also had an amazing talent with knitting needles and crochet hooks. Many people have been blessed by her beautiful creations.

      Marie is survived by Ernest Lloyd, her husband of 44 years, children: Karen Davenport (Mahlon), Allan Shaw (Gina), Melanie Rideout (James Holmes), Blake Shaw, Chad Lloyd (Jamie Guest). Marie leaves 2 grandchildren, Pam Cromier and Sheldon Jordan as well as 2 great grandchildren, Seth and Hunter Jordan. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Eva Frazier and Sammie Bradstreet. She is lovingly remembered as "Nana Marie" by a special family; Brent, Brenda, Ross and Matthew Kenny.

      A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Bristol Community Cemetery with Pastor Claude Smith officiating. Donations to the River Valley Cancer Support Group or donor's choice would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to L.R.
