    • Obituary:
      GALLOWAY, NB - Dorothy Lee Mitchell 74, of Galloway passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Stella Maris Hospital in Ste-Anne-de-Kent. Born in Bath, NB she was the daughter of the late Lee Kilcollins and late Marjorie (Stoddard) Kilcollins. Dorothy will be sadly missed by her four daughters, Bev Harrison (Aaron) of Rexton, Kim Harrison (Tim) of Cherry Burton, Heidi Mitchell (Rene) of Upper Rexton, Holly Mitchell (Nicolas) of Moncton; one son, Laurie Harrison of Dorchester; nine grandchildren, Dana, Bradley, Alison, Merle, Zoey, Kesha, Kara, Sydney, Cameron and four great grandchildren, Chelsea, Annabella, Leah and Logan. She is also survived by one sister, Ellen Kilcollins of Bass River Point and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth James Mitchell; one step-son, Glen Mitchell and one brother, Richard Kilcollins. Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Wednesday at 1:00 pm until time of the funeral. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel in Richibucto, officiated by Pastor Raymond Vautour. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family would like to give special thanks to Rose-Marie Guimond for the loving care she provided to Mom over the years. Dorothy will be remembered for her strong faith in God, her generosity and love for her family. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
