Pauline Fern DeMerchant
July 10, 1942 - April 23, 2010
Pauline (Polly) DeMerchant of Woodstock passed away at her home in Woodstock on Friday, April 23, 2010, at the age of 67.
Polly is survived by her husband Byron DeMerchant; two sons, Todd (Susan) DeMerchant of Houston, Texas; Jeffery (April) DeMerchant of Grafton, NB; one daughter, Carla (Greg) Stone of Woodstock, NB. She is also survived by three sisters Jacqulyn (Doug) Hitchcock of Amherst, NS; Clara (Austin) Broad of Wicklow, NB; Martha (Bert) Southan of Wicklow, NB; one brother, Michael (Linda) Wheeler of Deerville, NB; Seven grandchildren, Dillon; Brooke; Abbey; Autumn; Ty; Avery and Jorgia; many nieces and nephews.
Polly was pre deceased by her parents, Donald and Mary (Squiers) Wheeler; two brothers, Donald Wheeler and Robert Wheeler; six sisters, Carrie Ripley; Glenna Patterson; Mary Wheeler; Katherine Jamer; Anna Ashworth and Judith Wheeler.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB; with visiting on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm from Woodstock Baptist Church. Rev. Leonard Cousins will be officiating, assisted by Rev. Rob Heffernan, with interment in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
