  Obituary: The passing of Joyce Eileen (Dickinson) DeMerchant of Woodstock NB occurred on Saturday , November 5 at the Upper River valley Hospital . Born February 25,1934 to the late Holland and Flossie (McIntosh) Lockard. Joyce is survived by her husband Byron Demerchant, her children, Dana Dickinson(Karen), Neil Dickinson(Bernadean)Cindy Grant(Terry), Connie Dickinson- Alcorn, Stepchildren,Todd DeMerchant(Susan), Jeffery DeMerchant(April) Carla Stone(Greg), thirteen grand-children, ten great-grandchildren, two sisters, Rita Bull and Barbara Waugh as well as several nieces ,nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband H. Robert(Bob) Dickinson, children ,Gary ,Peter and Holly, a sister Jean and brothers Ronnie, Leland, Murray , Bobbie and a son-in-law Bob Alcorn. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB ,where friends may call on Monday from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 8 at 1 pm from the Funeral Home Chapel . Interment will be in the Lakeville Baptist Cemetery.
