Lynne Marie Burnham
1951-2012
It is with sadness we announce Lynne’s death on July 10, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, New Brunswick. Born in Bath, New Brunswick on January 22, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (McKay) Burnham. She graduated from Florenceville High School, Florenceville, New Brunswick in 1969, Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick in 1973 and the University of New Brunswick Law School in 1976. Lynne practiced law in Saint John, New Brunswick since 1976 with the law firm of Stewart McKelvey (formerly McKelvey Macaulay Machum). Lynne is survived by her loving and much loved husband Rod Gould and her loving daughter Margaret Gould whom she loved very much and was immensely proud. She is also survived by her sister Janet Burnham McEacharn, her husband Ross and their children Alan (Janet) and Joe (Mary), her sister Libby Burnham, her husband Gordon Sedgwick and their children John (Leigh-Ann McGowan), Anne and Jamie (Alice Cohen), her sister Suzanne Burnham and her children Caelyn and Letha, her sister-in-law Alice Burnham and her children Brent, Blair and Neil (Martine), her brother-in-law Jim Gould, his wife Gloria and their children Amanda (Stuart Cox), Christine (Brian Black) and James, her sister-in-law Christine Hynes, her husband Glenn and their children Rodney, Curtis and Meredith, her father-in-law Edward McLean and his wife Susan Fullerton. Besides her parents Lynne was predeceased by her brother Bill Burnham. Visitation will take place at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424) on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. There will be a celebration of Lynne’s life on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint David’s United Church, 7 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay, New Brunswick, followed by a reception at Shadow Lawn Inn, 3180 Rothesay Road, Rothesay, New Brunswick. Interment will take place in the Florenceville Community Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital, Department of Oncology or to any charity of the donor’s choice.
