  Obituary: Christopher James Gaunce 1936-2015 Christopher James Gaunce passed away on November 28, 2015 at his home in Beechwood. He was born January 12, 1936 and was the son of the late William and Jewell Gaunce. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence; siblings, Robert, Jack, Harry, Charles and Mary. Christopher is survived by his companion, Sharon Donovan; sons, Jim (Sam) Gaunce of Digby, NS, Peter (Pam) Gaunce of Fredericton, NB, Seth (Valerie) Gaunce of Beechwood, NB, Mike Gaunce of New Glasgow, NS; grandchildren Dayna (Jeff), Casey, Erin, Shawna (Matt), Emily, Logan; sisters, Etha Gaunce of Upper Kent, NB, Elizabeth (Keith Chapman) of Saint John, NB, Dorothy Jean (Howard Kinney) Vancouver, BC; brother Frank (Nancy) Gaunce of Chicago, IL; extended family, Keith Donovan (Sheri) his children Ian, Allie, Noah and Liam; Kathy Wishart and her children Scott, Sean and Emma as well several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Christopher's wishes, there will be no visitation. A grave side service will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wharton Cemetery in Upper Kent with Pastor John Tremblett officiating. Following the interment everyone is welcomed to join the family at Beechwood United Bapist Church for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
